I'm in the doldrums a little at the moment. I'm normally a winter-girl anyway, but even I am getting worn down by the bad weather. Oh, to just be able to open the curtains of a morning and it be lighter than them being closed!
Every day seems so much longer to me at the moment, and the poor girls are getting frustrated at being indoors so much. Earlier today, I was feeling sorry for myself and I tuned into UCB radio.
One of my favourite hymns is In Christ Alone, and I managed to catch the song right from the very start, sung by Maire (Moya) Brennan, Joanne Hogg and Margaret Becker, and honestly, it felt like a burst of sunlight in the gloom.
I like it when that happens...

"it felt like a burst of sunlight in the gloom."
Worshipping the Lord in Spirit and truth can have that wonderful affect.
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, ... urging one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Col. 3:15-16
I hope you folks in Britain will be getting some sunshine soon. It must be so discouraging to wake up to the grey and rainy every day.
Hang in there, Libbie!
Yep, being stuck inside with little munchkins is very wearing....and I only have the one!
Mrs B now out of hospital but a lot of recovering to do.
'In Christ Alone' but... but... but... the author of that hymn is not dead yet so we can't sing it...
Ok, we can actually, cause next week we're having hymnsheets again. Hehehehehe (well, we have to do something for fun seeing as we can't wash...)
