Yes, I'm actually a hamster in Nicaragua, posing as a dull English housewife, mowahahaha!

I found this today while perusing my stats.

It says "On balance, we believe this is not a UK blog."

I'm rather amused by that. It's not like I am all incognito and mysterious. Not quite sure why it is they believe this isn't a UK blog. I'm not sure what I could possibly do to make it more English, lol.

Well apparently they ARE confident that my blog IS a UK one.

Hurray! I am now down in the annals of record as a Nicaraguan Hamster. Life is sweet. They don't eat Hamsters down that way, do they?

Not to the best of my knowledge. They eat guinea pigs, though.

I got this:

"We are confident this is a UK blog."

...so defintely not a Nicaraguan hamster, just an English one ;¬)

Hi Libbie,

Sorry SW? got that wrong.

If you are interested, the Says Who? classifier judged there was an 85% chance that "Musings of an English Muffin" was UK after looking at the blog itself, but then reduced that to 47% after considering the pages it links to.

This is a tricky problem that I obviously have to work more on.

Anyway, I hope the information is now to your satisfaction. :)

best,
Dan

lol Dan, it's absolutely marvellous. I shall look sternly at my blogging friends for mostly being across the Atlantic and confusing your program :D

What could you do to be more English? I don't know, I'm not English (although my maternal grandmother descended from loyalists). Try saying "blimey" now and then and ending sentences with "eh, what?" I've always thought that sounded very English.
