Out we go.

Today was a bit of a watershed - I left the house with the children on my own. For months I've been too much of a scaredy cat to attempt a trip out without Ant, but today was the day.

As it turns out, it wasn't planned with military precision like I anticipated a trip out would be. Instead it was quite a spur of the moment decision - they were all dressed and full of energy, so I suddenly announced a walk.

It was only a small walk around the estate, and it was quite cold, but, by gum, I did it. Baby steps it may be, but these things soon build up into something bigger and better.

Spontaneous walks are the best kind. And good for you for biting the bullet and going.

Small walks are a great way to work up to big walks. Good way to burn off some of that energy, too!
